About this game
Forty-six cards and three ways to use them: a memory game, an identify-the-emotion game, and snap. The same deck goes from quiet and careful to loud and fast depending on which you pick.
Naming a feeling is the part young children find hardest, and it is the part everything else depends on. A child who can say "I am frustrated" is already handling it better than one who can only shout. These cards give them the words by showing them the faces first.
Snap is in there for a reason. A child who will not sit still for a discussion about feelings will absolutely play snap, and they are looking at the same emotions either way.
How it plays
Two to eight players, 15 to 30 minutes. Three games in the box, so it fits both a calm afternoon and a restless one.
Good for
- Younger children just starting to name feelings
- Children who need movement and speed to stay interested
- Therapists and teachers wanting one deck that does several jobs
In the box
