About this game
Twenty feelings, and for each one, six things a child can actually do about it. Flip to angry and the page says: count to ten, ask them to stop, walk away, talk to an adult, take a deep breath, think about the other person.
The point is that a child can use it alone. It sits on a shelf or a desk, and when things go wrong they can go and find the page themselves. That is a very different thing from an adult telling them to calm down, and it works when no adult is available.
The monsters are friendly and a bit silly, which is deliberate. A child in a temper will not pick up something that looks like a lesson.
How it works
Flip to the feeling. Read the six options. Pick one. No rules, no adult needed, though it works just as well as a conversation starter.

- Children who need a strategy in the moment, not afterwards
